The week before school started we took a trip to Utah. My dad had to be up there for an LDS convention and we got to go and help work at it. We stayed with the Wilson's and did lots of fun things too!

We took a cousin trip and went and toured BYU

The new Oquirrh Mt. Temple

School started and it's so weird to be a Junior! I love it though and I have been keeping busy with StuCo! It's a lot of work but so much fun! I already love everyone in it and love how involved we get to be in the school! I LOVE Mesa High and all the fun traditions. We just had the Traditions Assembly on Friday along with the Howdy Hardcore Hop. We are already preparing for Homecoming in October which will be amazing.

I also turned 16 on Monday and already love having my license!

Girls Camp!

Ashley came with me and we were 4th year YCL's which meant we had to go on the big hike! We hiked to Horton Springs and it was pretty challenging! Luckily we had friends and fun leaders which made it bearable!
We were lucky to also be over cute girls like Annie!

We got carried away with taking ugly no make-up, pictures on the hike and so by the time we got to main camp I had no battery left in my camera! :(

But main camp was awesome! My mom was Stake Camp director again and she did a great job! We had fun repelling, canoeing, and spending time together! The weather was super nice during the day but it got really cold at night! Luckily my dad came up on Thursday and I got to go stay the night in a cabin with him the last 2 nights! He is awesome! I have such an amazing ward with amazing leaders and girls!

Movie Reviews!

On the Thursday night before Good Friday (which we had off of school) Taylor, Ashley and I decided last minute to go to the midnight showing of Hannah Montana haha! It ended up actually being the most entertaining "G" movie I have probably ever seen! It also has a pretty good soundtrack with some of my favorites: Crazier-Taylor Swift and The Climb-Miley Cyrus! We loved it and especially for not being huge Hannah Montana fans!

Then on Saturday I went to go and see 17 Again with some more friends!

We all absolutely loved it! It was way better than I was expecting it to be and was well worth the $9.75 you pay now! Probably my new favorite chick-flick and possibly all time movie! It will make you laugh and cry! And the best part is Zac Efron! He is so extremely cute in it!!

Deaf Hours

I have been taking sign language this year and I absolutely love it! It is such a fun class and I have learned SO much! For one of our assignments we were required to do 6 deaf hours. This meant that we had to go out in public with other sign students for 6 separate hours and act as if we were deaf. It was a challenging and difficult thing but really helped change my view toward the deaf community and people. I look up to them so much now!

For my first 2 hours I went with Ash and Taylor to Wal-Mart and Target. It was way hard the first few times but got easier each time!

For our 3rd hour we went to the Deaf Branch in Phoenix. I went with Afton Crum, Alexis Wilkens, Audrey Noble, Mary Allen, and Ashley. This was probably my favorite experience! I loved it! It was so cool to see that everything they do there is just the same as at a hearing ward only in sign language haha!

For our 4th and 5th hours we went to the Deaf Expo which was also in Phoenix. It was quite a new and different experience! It made me realize that I really don't know much of any sign but I can't wait to keep learning! My favorite part of the expo was meeting a deaf UFC fighter: Matt Hammill. He was so cute and nice! And buff! Haha

I am so glad I got to have these experiences and get a better understanding of the difficulties that the people in the deaf community have to go through! And I can't wait to learn more!

On Saturday night my best buddy Sparkey was hit and killed by a car right in front of our house. It was a sad night for our family and especially for my little brothers who witnessed it. We buried him that night on the side of our house and Zack wrote some last words for him on our wall. (So cute/sad!)

I remember the day my parents brought him home. I was 9 years old. They told us they were leaving somewhere to pick up a BIG surprise. They took my Dad's old truck so we thought it was going to be a BIG screen TV haha! We watched out the front window until finally the truck pulled up! Too our surprise there was no big screen TV but the cutest little dog!! We were so excited because we thought we would never get a dog! My mom told us he would be an outside dog but that first night he curled up close to Max and Zack on their bed and my mom thought it was too cute and thats how he became an inside dog!

His name was originally Levi but it didn't fit him so Zack thought of the name Sparkey! It was the perfect name for him and especially because we are BIG ASU fans! Go devils!

He loved sleeping on the couch and anyones bed, talking walks, hot dogs, baths, people food, and barking!

He hated being alone (Haha his vet even diagnosed him w/ "Separation Anxiety"), and he hated when me and Ash would tease him!

This is after a trip to the vet where he had multiple teeth pulled! Haha he was so loopy he couldn't walk or stand!

He also loved to sun bathe!

I love you pups and I will miss you!!!

Guess who was at the fireside I attended on Sunday?!

DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!

And let me tell you, it was by far the best fireside I have ever attended!

It was supposed to be a somewhat "secret" fireside but luckily Ashley's mom works with someone in the stake it was for! We got there at 5 for the fireside that didn't start til 7 and we weren't the first ones there. About 50 girls beat us there but we still managed the 6th soft seat row on the left. Haha it was quite and intense 2 hour wait but well worth it! Luckily he was on time and the fireside started right away. A cute man in the stake presidency introduced him after an opening prayer and song and then the next hour and a half we heard from the adorable David Archuleta himself!

He started of the night by singing "I Am A Child Of God" and not a single girl could take their eyes off of him. It was absolutely AMAZING! Instead of a prepared talk, people in the congregation had written down gospel related questions for him to answer. Some things he was asked:

-Q-"What do you look for in an eternal companion?" (Of course! Haha)

-A- He said he has never had an actual girlfriend and then gave a cute analogy about pizza and dating and how you can't just say you LOVE pizza if the only kind you have ever tried is the kind you get at 7-11. You need to try every kind and find what you like about each and then one day you will find your "Italian pizza." So cute!

-Q-"Do you still plan to serve a mission?"

-A- He shared how he felt this was his mission and that he needed to continue serving the world by sharing his talents and by being a good example. He also shared 2 stories of people who were touched by his example and looked on LDS.org and were then converted to the church. AMAZING!

-Q-"Do you feel that prayer has helped you through all of this?"

-A- David said "Oh absolutely." He shared how when he was on Star Search he became sick and found out one side of his vocal chords weren't working. He prayed to be able to continue singing and look where he is now. He also shared that somehow during American Idol he always found time everyday to pray and read his scriptures through his busy schedule which somedays did not even allow school.

-Q- "What is your favorite hymn and why?"

-A- "Be Still My Soul." He said how during crazy times he thinks about the words to that song and it calms him down. Then it sang it PERFECTLY.

Throughout the whole night he was chill and super cute and nice. He laughed a ton and was so funny and kept apologizing for rambling and getting side-tracted but ever girl just found it cute! After a few more questions he finished off by singing "How Great Thou Art" acapella(sp?) which melted everyones heart. Wow! What an amazing and testimony-strengthening night!

After the closing prayer they escorted him to the Relief Society Room where we could stand in a huge line and shake his hand and get pictures! It was well worth it!

Yes, that is really me and David Archuleta! And he is way cuter in person! It could be an understatement to say he made our Spring Break...I think he made our month... or year! Ha

15 going on 16

This past, Tuesday February 24th marked the half way point of me being still 15 but almost 16. I was 15 and 6 months. This meaning I could get my long awaited Drivers Permit.

I studied all day after I finished my AIMS writing test and then went to the DMV to take another big test. I read each question carefully and heard as the three boys in front of me and the two girls behind me all one by one said "$#^! I failed!" and walked out of the room. As I got to question 25 I knew I had already missed 6 meaning if I missed 1/5 remaining questions I would fail too. As the question came up onto the screen I knew I didn't know the answer. I failed.

Haha luckily I wasn't the only one that day who failed but it's still kinda embarrassing.

Luckily I would be able to take it the next day for my attempt two at this not-that-big-of-a-deal test. I walked into the DMV for the second time on the 25th and saw some familiar faces of the kids from the day before. And this time I was smarter than the computer and it's trick questions. And so were they. The End!

Rocky Point, Mexico

2 Weekends ago we were invited to Mexico with the Kemptons and we left Friday afternoon! It

was my first time leaving the country (Besides Niagra Falls/Canada) and I loved the new experience. Mexico looks EXACTLY how I imagined it and how everyone explains it.

It's super run down and ghetto.

There are stray, skinny dogs EVERYWHERE!

People really do come up to your car and try to sell you stuff (Like sheep jerky).

They don't refrigerate their eggs at the grocery store.

And you kinda always feel dirty.

But,

They do have some pretty dang good shrimp tacos.

And,

Gorgeous beaches, which make it totally worth it!

We had SOOO much fun w/ the Kemptons and their stinkin cute kids Reese and Cash!

The house we stayed at was like a 2 minute walk from the beach! It was awesome! Even though it was cold most of the time, we spent most our time at the the beach. The tide pools were awesome and we found some cool stuff! And there was no one around!

We are planning a trip to go back in June w/ the Bloomfield's and I can't wait!

SNOW Much Fun!

For Wade Andes Sweet 16 party we went snowboarding! We left Friday after school and his parents were kind and brave enough to drive us! We rode in style in the 15 seater van up to Taylor, AZ where we stayed the night. We went to Pizza Hut as soon as we got there and we learned what people in Taylor do for fun from these 2 lovely boys, Chris and Nick:

- Drive to Wal-Mart ( Which is one whole hour away)

- Ice block

-Mud Bog in Chris's sweet Astro Van

OR my personal favorite

- Write on peoples car windows w/ a bar of soap

We probably missed out on a ton of fun... But we went back to the hotel and did this instead:

Australians are Heaps Fun!

For the past two weeks Mesa families have been hosting Australian students. Callyn was lucky enough to have Jess stay with her! They all came to a day of school at Mesa High on Friday. After school we hung out at my house and then me, Ashley and Emily went to the potluck dinner that was supposed to be for the students and their host families only haha. We met some gorgeous boys and hung out with them for a little bit that night. When they left we went to the park and played some more!

While Jess was here she was nice enough to answer ALL of our questions about Australia and I learned so much! Here are a few things about Australia and it's people:

-They don't have Wal-Mart

-They say "heaps" in the context of this post's title

-They call flashlights: torches

-Gas stations are called Petrol Stations

-Surfer boys don't wash their hair

-Australians can't say aluminum (They pronounce it al-ooo-min-eee-um)

-They really eat Veggie-Mite which I tried on bread with cheese and almost threw up

-They are a whole day ahead of us and it is currently summer there

-They thought my house was, "Freakishly Clean"

-They call french fries: chips

-They don't have In-n-Out Burger

-No QT

-No Sonic

-No Taco Bell

-They call McDonald's: Mackers

-They rarely see kangaroos where they live

-They think Mesa is peaceful

-Their drivers license is a magnet that they put on the outside of their car

-They are gorgeous and have beautiful accents

-They think we have accents too

-I love them!

To welcome in the new year with style we made tye-dye shirts the day before!

The next day I washed mine and Ashley's like the directions said. But, when I pulled them out of the washer they were ruined!

Luckily Taylor's wasn't ruined and she was still able to rock it on New Year's Eve!

On New Year's Eve we had a ton of fun! We went to a dance party in Gilbert which was lame so we decided to have one of our own! We found a parking lot and blasted music from Chris's "BUS!" I so kindly volunteered not to dance but took pictures instead!

Then we headed back to my house around eleven for some Rockband and waffles!

Tuesday I also found out that I had been voted/nominated by my fellow sophomore Jackrabbits for Winter Formal Royalty. I was very excited because this meant I could go to the dance! I lucked out because i wasn't going to get to go to any this year due to my very, very late birthday in August!

So I found a dress in very short time (Thanks to my older sister) and an unofficial date (Thanks Derek) and a group! Even though it was last minute, and our group was kinda small we had a ton of fun!

Lots of fun things happened in November!

On November 8th this big guy, my Dad turned 38! He is the best Dad and to not only me but pretty much like half the kids at Mesa High. At least once a week I get a comment from someone who will say something like, "Your dad is so cool!", "I love your dad", or boys usually say, "Your dad Shep is the bomb!" Happy late Birthday Dad I love you and you are "The bomb!"

My dad also coached Zack's flag football team. I got to go to a lot of the games and I hope he really does get to the NFL so I can get my promised car of choice from him!

The 21st was the TWILIGHT premiere! I went to the midnight showing with Ashley, Reagan, my mom and my 2 sisters! I loved the movie and even though I read the books I have a hard time getting into reading so Im a fan of the movie. The best part of the movie was...

Taylor Lautner AKA: Jacob Black! Yes, I am a Jacob fan and can't wait till the sequel movie New Moon!

Then on November 27 , also Thanksgiving Day this year Max turned 10! I still remember the day he was born and how tiny he was, but he is now so tall and handsome!

On Thanksgiving we went to my grandma and grandpa's house at noon for a lunch with my mom's side and then some of my dad's side came over at night for dinner. It was a lot of fun!

& Ashley turned 17 on the 29th! She is so old!

Dance Festival

I HAD/WAS FORCED to have the opportunity to be in the Kimball Stake Dance Festival. We started practicing in August for our performance which was this past Saturday. The Mia Maids and Teachers learned the cha-cha and danced to "Let's Get Loud". Though I am NOT a fan of dancing/can't dance, and had a crappy attitude, me and Grayson (my dance partner) managed to make the performances fun!

Reagan, Emily and Brenda also helped the ALL DAY LONG practice on Saturday go by a little faster!

Last Thursday we had our MHS swim and dive banquet. It was at Val Vista Lakes and it was really good. We had yummy food, watched a slideshow, got awards, and found out the new captains for next year ( YAY CIARA!). We also got to hear a really cute speech from Annie Jones. She thanked everyone for being her "BFF's" and for cheering her on at meets. It was so cute and she did awesome! As a little gift, her sister Laura made everyone stickers that say, "Annie is my BFF." It was such a cute idea and a perfect way to show how much we love Annie in our picture!

I enjoyed being a part of the swim team this year, for the most part. Likes:

WAY WAY WAY less dramatic then volleyball
WAY more chill coaches
Boy AND girl sport
Fun parties
I got VERY VERY tan
I got "natural" high lights in my hair
I met new and nice friends

Don't likes:

I missed playing volleyball
The water was freezing
I ALWAYS smelled of chlorine
Had to wash my hair every night
Had to shave every night

I can't decide if these two are happy that it's over or sad??

After school on Friday there was a homecoming parade (where we met NACHO) & a carnival. That night we played Central and beat them 54 to 0! It was a fun win but a boring game!

Saturday night was the Homecoming dance which I didn't go to as I am not 16 but Ashley went with Jake Thompson and she looked so pretty!

During the summer I got addicted to a little something known as blogging and stalking. But summer doesn't last forever and neither will my daily addiction. I am now back in school w/ a busy and tiring routine. Here is a sample of my daily doings:

-Wake up @ 6:00 start getting ready

-6:30 Family Scripture study

-6:45 Finish getting ready

-7:40 Leave for MHS

- 8:06 MHS begins

-2:00 leave to Brimhall

-2:45 Start swim

-5:30 Swim ends after swimming what seems like 345647856 laps

- 6:00 dinner

- Sometime after shower, and do homework for Chemistry, Geometry, Sign-language, and AA English and clean our nightly offices

-Sometime usually after 10:30 go to bed.

-Then....

(Plug in the following for: -Monday Night:FHE and The Hills, Wednesday:Mutual, Thursday: Swim Meet)

REPEAT...

Until the weekend!

Which will now include Friday night football games and the Haka

Saturday will include 7:00-10:00 AM swim practice, cleaning 4 offices and then

Labor Day Weekend

I am a week late but I have had a lot of homework this past week. But, I had a really fun Labor Day Weekend! On Friday night I had a combined birthday party with Tanner Jones, Reagan Groscost and Brenda Andrew! Then on Saturday I went to the ASU game with Ash and Taylor. Emily was there with her Dad so we went and sat with her in the second half considering ours were 4 rows down from the very top! It was way fun!

On Thursday night I went to the ASU scrimmage game. It was really fun and I am totally excited for FOOTBALL SEASON now!

Monday was the first day of school! I am now an official Mesa High School Jackrabbit and in 10th grade! Already high school is way better than Jr. High and I am loving it! Luckily I didn't get lost or beat up or anything crazy like in the movies and it was fun seeing all of my friends!

I did try out for volleyball and didn't make it which is a whole other story that I am still too mad/shocked to talk about right now, but I had a quick change of plans and am now doing swim team. Even though I would rather be playing volleyball, swim is fun and you get a good tan! :) So goodbye:

For many people throughout the country 8/2/08 was a long awaited day, to be full of reading the newly released

book Breaking Dawn. People waited in long lines to get their hands on this book and then rushed home to start reading.

I was one of these people in a long line at Walmart around 12:00 PM who was very excited as was everyone else in line to get this book.

But I would not be going home to read of Edward and Bella's marriage. Instead I went home to read this which ='s possibly the most boring book I have ever had to read:

So for everyone who got to stay up all night and read this most likely amazing vampire love story ending, don't just feel sorry for me because I had to read a book about adultery, feel sorry for me for being a huge PROCRASTINATOR and for taking AA English!

So the other day I went over to Kourtney's and we watched the movie: I fell in LOVE with the movie and mostly Heath Ledger who is so cute in that movie! Since Emily's birthday was coming up me and Ashley Clayton decided we should buy it for her even though she had never seen it! ( We are so nice!) So, I then starting looking at multiple Targets and WalMarts for it... but no one had it since it is older! Emily's birthday came and I hadn't found it so I told her that her present would just be late because I really wanted to find it! Then today I had a genius idea. I remembered that BlockBuster not only rents movies but sells movies! So, I looked up their number and called! I was so excited when she told me they had one left! Yay! Happy Late Birthday Emily!

This year I was a 4th year, which obviously means the dreaded 4th year hike. Luckily we had really fun and chill leaders who made it way less painful than expected. We had lots of time to relax and sleep and have fun! The best part was that they didn't make us hike with our packs!

It was a super fun and rainy day and it didn't feel much like summer but we LOVE rain so it was ok. In AA English we were assigned a decade as a group. My group and I lucked out and picked the 80's which were so much fun! I was in charge of Fashion and Fads and it was fun see learn about all of the fun things! A part of the project was to learn a dance and then teach it to the class. We took the challenge of learning Thriller and it was so much fun! Even though I am sure we weren't as "smooth" as Michael Jackson we pulled a 36/35! Go us! We also decided to stay in costume all day and it was way worth all of the looks we recieved! It was so much fun!

One step closer to being done at Taylor

This weekend I had a club volleyball tournament at Dysart High School. I don't even know what town this is located in (maybe Dysart? is that a place?) but I know it takes forever to get there and it's a nice high school in the middle middle of absolutely nowhere! Anyways it was really fun even though we did poorly. We only won one of our games but I had like 10 kills and a couple aces. In between games Callyn, Kortney, and I had lots of fun. We played soccer in the hall ways (with a volleyball) and broke into classrooms. haha. We also ate a lot of junk and missed Ash, as she was in Flagstaff but it was fun! Hopefully we will do better next time though...

We were to pick a biome and then an animal that lives in that biome. We drew the ocean biome and decided to do a manatee. We had to film a movie describing their habitat and what not. It was a really funny movie and we had a lot of fun dressing up.

I Love 3 Day Weekends!

We had no school on Friday because it was "April Break." It was a nice little break from school and I can't wait for our nice big break it 19 days! It is crazy how fast time flies and it seems like just yesterday I was starting out as a little 7th grader at Taylor and now sadly (not) to say I am leaving. But anyways Thursday night we all went over to Afton's and hung out! It was really fun and I love her house it is so cute and fun! She has a fun game room with lots of fun things in it. She also has a really crazy teeter-totter and we had fun with it. Unfortunately my camera died so there aren't many pictures and I failed to remember to replace them all weekend.

Friday morning I slept in which was wonderful! Then Ash and I went shopping! We went to the new San Tan mall which I love! We got some cute new clothes and we were excited! Then we came home and got ready. A bunch of our friends went out to eat at Applebees and yes my batteries were still dead. But it was really yummy! Afterwards we went to Reagan's house and played Guitar Hero and rode skitters and scooters! Kourtney spent the night but we both fell asleep on the couch fairly early. Saturday morning we had to get up bright and early and work concessions at the VB tournament at Mesa. It was boring and our bed head must of not been very inviting as the food selling was slow. Haha but we made it fun! We are good at that!
I came home and went tanning and it felt good soaking up the sun! Then I had to go in and get ready for my Aunt Julie's surprise birthday party. Yes, Ashley came along as she is practically family. We had Ned's and it was delicious. Then my cousin took us home and I had friends over to watch a movie. We watched "One Missed Call" and it was pretty creepy!
Then today we had the opportunity of getting up early once again to go the the Randolf House. It is a facility for mentally challenged and elderly people. Most of the youth in my ward went and we all had a great time. We were paired up with one of these men or women. We then went and picked them up from their homes and brought them back to a big meeting hall where we sang Primary songs. Sarah Udall and I were buddied with a cute man named Earl. We loved him he was so stinkin cute and he sang all of the songs REALLY loud! After returning them to their homes we all returned to this hall for sacrament and a testimony meeting. It was a really neat experience!

This post is dedicated to my Best Friend For Eternity BFFE Ashley Michelle Clayton! I have been best friends with her since 6th grade but have known her since 3rd. I remember the first time she came to my house to play Fashion Polly and it seems like she hasn't left, since she comes over pretty much everyday! She has pretty much been adopted into my family as the 6th child. We have many fun memories of the things and places we have been. Some include, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Sunsplash, Disneyland, Lake Powell, Girls Camp, St Johns, Six Flags, and The Beach. We love shopping, watching our favorite movies such as Mean Girls and The Notebook, going to QT, Sonic, and Gecko Grill, hanging out with friends, sleepovers, talking, and just having fun! Me and Emily love to confuse and tease her about boys and her strange obsession over horses and even though she hates it I know she secretly likes it. Counting Down!

It is crazy to think about but believe it of not there are only 25 days left until school is out! I am extremely excited as school drags on forever especially now that AIMS/Terra Nova testing is over! I don't think I will have a hard time leaving Taylor Jr. High as it is so strict and dumb lately but I am excited to finally be a Jackrabbit! I am sure I will miss Taylor someday but I am good for now. I am excited for summer for many reasons: Swimming which = Tan Lines!, sleeping in a little more, sunglasses, shopping, chilling, vacations, lots of hanging out and sleepovers, Otter Pops, bike rides to Sonic, ice cream, not having to get ready every day and the sun! Volleyball camps all day and weight training at 6 AM, not so much but they keep me in shape so its ok. I am also not looking forward to too much is our Family Reunion in Utah but there is no way getting out of that one!

My weekend wasn't too busy but it was pretty fun! On Friday night I went and saw Prom Night with a bunch of friends. It was pretty scary and suspenseful but it was pretty good until the end which was lame I thought. After the movie Ash and Reagan left me so I went over and hung out with Emily and we talked which is always fun! Then early Saturday morning I had a volleyball tournament. We usually have to drive somewhere that is crazy far away like Buckeye but luckily this one was at Mesa so I got to sleep an hour later then usual till 6:30. Which is still too early! But we did pretty good. We took 4th out of I think 9 teams. The top 3 move up a division and the bottom move down so we get to stay where we were which is better then moving down. I had a couple of kills and aces which is always good. Unfortunately there are no pictures because my Mom and Dad were at home running our first annual Creative Wrapping Paper Party! I was sad to miss out but It seems like it was a success! If you didn't get a chance to come and see check out the website everything is super cute and fun!

Sparkeys Unfortunate Vet Visit

Last Monday Sparky had a "check up" to the vet. Being the not so great pet owners that we are it had been a while since his last trip. When examining Sparkey they discovered he would have to get some teeth pulled out. They ended up pulling 7! When we went to pick up Sparkey he was in this little cage and when he saw us he tried to stand up but being on a ton of drugs he fell immediately over! I couldn't help but laugh. After being lectured about not brushing our dogs teeth we were able to take him home. Haha I don't think anyone has brushed his teeth since then but he is doing much better!

Easter came really fast this year but it was really fun! To start of the Easter season every year we go to the Easter Pageant! This year Reagan Groscost and her family were all in it! It was fun to see her all dressed up! She is the best! Every year, the Saturday before Easter, my neighborhood has a big Easter egg hunt in the retention basin. They spread hundreds of Easter eggs and all the kids go hunting! They make delicious treats and it is really fun! On Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs and Ashley, Brad, Drew and Eric were all there too! Sunday morning the Easter Bunny visited! Unfortunatly I was still asleep but it looks like Dad and the boys had fun! I got lots of candy and the movie Enchanted! That Sunday was also Brad and Drews farewell talks in church and they did really good! We will miss them coming over all the time to play games and talk! We also got to bring my Grandma to church with us which was a good experience! We had a great Easter!

For Spring Break I went to California with Ashley and her family and Tyler brought Drew. It was so much fun! We left Tuesday morning at like 5 and drove all the way through to Anaheim. Brandon and Travis were the only ones who wanted to go to Disneyland so we dropped them off for the day! After we got some breakfast/lunch we went to Huntington Beach. It was so pretty and the weather was perfect! We shopped around for awhile and then went to Newport Beach which was also gorgeous but unfortunately we didn't spot Chrisy or Clay! Then we decided to go to the LA Fashion District. We got a little side-tracked and didn't get there til like 5:00. What we didn't know is that they all close their shops at 5:30, so we quickly looked around. Ashley and her Mom found designer purses for way cheap. I got a coach wallet for 10 dollars and it is super cute! Then we went to her Uncle Ernie's house where we stayed. The next day we got up early and went to Six Flags! It was really fun! We rode on tons of rides and had a blast!

Sorry this is like a week late but I just haven't had time yet. OK well last Friday and Saturday my ward went up for a "Young Women Retreat." The getting woken up at 7:00 by the Beehives running around being loud part didn't really make it a retreat but other than that it was pretty fun at relaxed! Ashley came along with me (Of course) and she saved me considering I dont really have any friends my age in the ward. But we had fun with Kourtney, Lauren, Kelley, and Annaliese and my sister. We all slept in the basement where it was quite as the Beehives went to bed somewhat early and were upstairs. We didn't exactly sleep because we stayed up till 3-4 ish. We played truth or dare, read magazines, talked, prank called on the phone we weren't supposed to have, scared the girls upstairs, and ate. Other activities included were we made a really cute craft thanks to Sister Sherwood, played games, played in the little snow left, ate, peed in the snow.... etc. Overall it was pretty fun and "Krazy"

Ok so at one of the football games this past season they were selling chick-fil-a and they had one of those cow/mascot things. Since we love random pictures we asked if we could take a picture with him/her. The lady working there said that was fine and asked if she could take one too because she needed one for her website. We were like cool thats fine and so after she told us the website it would be on. None of us remembered it so we kinda forgot about it. Today I was looking for a picture of a Mesa jackrabbit on google. I was on the Images section and typed in Mesa High. On the first page the picture appeared! Haha! D is for dumb. I am at home on a Saturday night, which also just happens to be the night of the Mesa High vs. Mountain View game and I am missing out on all of the excitement! I am in bed on my Dad's laptop because I am sick. I went to the doctor on Friday and they drew blood and they said I either have Mono or Valley Fever. They won't get the results back til Monday but since Ashley just had mono and most of my symptoms are the same we think it is Mono. I have been sleeping a lot. I hope it is not Mono because if it is the only cure is sleep and you cant play sports. I had a VB tournament today and sort of tried to prove I could still play but after a little while I got totally exhausted. :( I tried begging my Dad to let me go to the game tonight but he insisted on me getting my rest so I decided to put on my Mesa shirt to support the team. I tried to find a clip art smiley of "sick" and there was none on the internet, and the only ones on this computer were random but this sort of explains how I feel. Haha I have no clue what it is.

First we went to Sheridan's house and it was fun! Then Pretty much it went like this. We didn't get invited to this girls party so everyone else our age was there so we stayed home and had a party of our own. I had a very fun Christmas! It started out good because we slept in til 5:45. Our normal awakening time to open presents is usually closer to 4 or 4:30 thanks to my younger siblings, but we got to sleep a little longer this year! We had fun opening our presents and got alot of fun things! Some things are Zack: A trick bike, Max: Guitar hero 3 Emily: A digital camera, Me and Ashley: Clothes and Mom and Dad: Movies and stuff. Then around 10:00 we went over to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for our annual Strawberry waffle breakfast. We had fun seeing our cousins and opening presents. I got a Jamba Juice giftcard. Then we went home and played with our fun things for a while. Max and I played Guitar Hero for like 2 hours straight! I also watched John Tucker Must Die. Then around 5 all of my cousins on my Dad's side of the family came over. We had a yummy dinner and also opened gifts. I got more giftcards which I spent the next day on shoes! But I had a great Christmas and am sad it's over! :(

For Christmas all of the kids in my family pick Secret Santa names and this year everyone got each other pajamas. Max gave me cute candy cane ones. I had Ashley. Then on Christmas Eve I went to my cousins which we do every year for a prime rib dinner! It was really yummy!

On Saturday me and Ashley went to the ASU game with my dad and uncle. It was fun and cold! And just in case you were thinking other wise we beat U 0f A. Like this shirt says: No pitty for the Kitty. Afterwards we celebrated our victory with some good old "Happy Hour Appetizers" from none other than Applebee's. Ashley expirenced her first time trying spinach artichoke dip. She liked it! Last week me and my family went to Park City, Utah for Thanksgiving. My cousins who live in West Jordan, Utah came and stayed at a condo up there with us in Park City where we enjoyed Thanksgiving. My week consisted of all of the above. It was cold the whole week with no snow :( which obviously cancled our snowboarding plans but it was good to have some fresh cold mountain air! The warmest it got was 40 which to me isnt warm! I watched like a million movies consisting of classics like Elf and Miracle on 31st Street. I also went and saw Enchanted and it was really cute and cheesy! I highly recommend it. But when I was there I got the stomach flu along with everyone else in my family so that was a bummer. But I still had fun!

Exciting Times!

Ok so I am so pumped for the holiday season! I think this weekend is the start of all the fun mostly just cause it's cooler and we have Monday off! So this week is only a 4 day week at school! I am also in a good holiday mood because it's the best shopping season of the year not just because of good sales but my personal favorite part is the Christmas music in the backround and you can sing along! Then next Tuesday in 8 days I am leaving school early and am going to Utah! We are going to stay in this awsome 3 story condo in Park City! My cousins who live in Utah are staying there with us and i can't wait! It's this really awsome set up with a hot tub and flatt screens everywhere! We will be there throught Monday. We are going to have the big feast there, shop, ski, snowboard, watch football & the parade, hot tub, sleep, chill and listen to Christmas music. It is also supposed to snow on Thanksgiving so it will actually be cold enough to have a fire in the fireplace with hot cocoa! Ah I can't wait!
